The Faraday MPC-1000 and 1500 were developed with many features that made them very robust. Some of the early manufactured systems had some very specific problems that were addressed through software as well as hardware revisions. Once again, as with the MPC-2000, most of the problems we see on these systems are the result of incompetence in repair and maintenance procedures.
Many of the repair calls we receive from new clients, result in upgrades to software which should have been performed long ago and fix many of the problems we see. There are from time to time hardware upgrades necessary.
There are two distinct versions of the MPC-1000 and MPC-1500. The early models were the MPC-1000 and MPC-1500, the later models were the MPC-1000 Plus and MPC-1500 Plus. The difference between the two version are in the field devices used. The early 1000 and 1500 were only capable of using System Sensor field devices. The plus versions are capable of using System Sensor devices as well as Faraday 8800 series devices. We stock both types of field devices at all times to service these systems.
